For those of you who are in the United States, I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend. We have been fortunate enough to spend the last few days in San Francisco. Wow, this city is beautiful! It doesn’t hurt that our host, my husband’s best friend, lives in the Marina area. He has been so kind to show us around the neighborhoods and today we’re making a stop at Ghiradelli Square to sample some yummy chocolate before boarding a flight to Australia. Thanks, Rosh! I’ll have a very content stomach during that 14 hour flight back to Sydney.
My posting may be a little lighter than usual although I haven’t been a very good blogger recently. Sorry. Hopefully I’ll make that up to you soon as I start to make some changes of the direction of this blog in next few months. More about that later…

Isn’t SF an amazing city…I was lucky enough to spend part of my childhood in the Marina, near the Palace of Fine Arts…I hope you got to see some of the new museums, but really there is just so much to see! Safe trip home to you!

Oh, I so love SF! I hope you had a wonderful time there. Did you get to go to any fab restaurants while you were there?
On another note, I saw your reply to my earlier comment. Our favorite restaurant in Houston is Mark’s. We recently ate at Shade in the Heights which was awesome. I loved the ambience and the food really was worth the price. Of course, our main go-to place is always El Tiempo for Mexican and Margaritas
I can’t live without it!
