I just received an e-mail from designer Abigail Ricarte of Bambako this morning about her new line of headbands. I didn’t catch on to the headband craze until until I saw Blair sporting preppy headpieces on Gossip Girl. But there is something very different about Abigail’s creations…
She seems like a true artist at heart as she plays with patterns and textures, resulting in such bright and feathery pieces of sheer prettiness for your head. I would keep your outfit quite simple when wearing them because these artistic beauties are just enough. Plus I knew I’d like this girl when she proclaimed her admiration for Martha Stewart (and described her chance meeting here).
