Perhaps this is an overload of grey but the room caught my eye. I do love grey with white or cream in bedrooms and living rooms. It’s actually my favorite color palette, especially when accented with coral. This Parisian living room belongs to Gerard Faivre and was photographed by Richard Powers for Vogue Living.
Jon and I debate over grey vs gray all of the time. While living in America I have made the transition to drop my u’s in color, neighbor, and honor, as well as converted to z’s in words like organize and socialize. But I just can’t give up on grey because I still see it spelled with an e over here (I even gave up spelt). Which is correct? I have a feeling that my husband will win this one.

What a lovely room. I love grey. Some people find it cold, but I find it rather soothing.
Do you mean that you are inclined to spell the color “grey” and Jon likes “gray”? I have always spelled it with an e because I like the way it looks better.

My office was suppose to be grey but after trying 3 colors of “grey”, I gave up. It just was not working..it was to blue or brown..just not grey..so I have green.

I think grey is a really hard color to get right. There is always the chance that the space will look too clinical. But I love your green office anyway.

I also struggle with grey vs. gray. I prefer ‘grey’ as in ‘Grey Gardens’. I’m sticking with ‘grey’.
