A little Coco for you

To Catch A Thief fashion of Gracy Kelly

Today you’ll find me over at Coco + Kelley as a contributor to Cassandra’s color predictions week. My inspiration? The enchanting colors of Cary Grant and Grace Kelly’s drive along the Côte d’Azur in To Catch A Thief. Apricots, blues, neutrals, and grays — the color palette of a picnic scene in the French Riviera.

When Cassandra graciously asked me to contribute, I noticed a little gem on her site: Coco + Kelley’s portfolio. That’s right, Cassandra has started her own styling business and her growing portfolio is already full of inspiration. Cassandra will help you refine your personal style in terms of your wardrobe or around your home, whether it be a fashion update or a living room overhaul. Prop styling, wedding design, interior staging, gift giving…she does it all! And with elegance, simplicity, and character.

Her wedding inspiration boards will certainly get you in the mood…

I commend those who start their own business because it takes an incredible amount of courage, patience, and sleepless nights. That’s part of the enjoyment of blogging because we get to know people and support them through their creative endeavors. There is just so much talent out there; Cassandra included. If you have an idea in the back of your mind or a side project that you are working on and you feel like sharing it with us, then please do tell. Or we can wait for the big reveal too. Either way we are all here to help and support.

Enjoy your weekend.

I was so utterly impressed with your color predictions. From your source of inspiration to the boards you created for the colors. I was so happy to see the azure blue–as much as I like all the subdue colors it is always fun to have one that packs a little punch! I am also so happy to have found your lovely blog.
