It’s interesting how different scents remind you of places, people, or particular events in your life. I remember making scented sachets for mother’s day gifts in elementary school. Mum broke into a great big smile as I excitedly pulled my gift out from my secret hiding spot under the bed because mothers seem to love anything handmade by their children. She actually used the sachets because I found them tucked in the corners of her cupboard.
Thanks to the recent coverage in Domino, I discovered Soap and Paper Factory’s pretty scented drawer liners in rosewood, fig, verbena, cinnamon clove, orange blossom, and green tea. They are missing the 2nd-grade handmade touch, including excessive glue and haphazard ribbons, but they would be great for your delicates drawer and provide a nice backdrop. I also like Martha Stewart’s idea of lining your drawers with velvet to stop your precious articles from moving around inside.
This may be a good fall/winter project for all of you when it’s too cold to step outside.

we had crabtree & evelyn drawer liners in the dressers we had for years. when we recently purchased new dressers, i took out the paper from the old and put it in the new. i couldn’t bear to part with it - sentimental, perhaps?

I love the idea of using beautiful little bowls in the drawer. I find myself wanting to buy things like that but I can’t figure out what to do with them.

I love drawer liners! Don’t you just feel so fancy with them in your drawer? Might need to check out these new ones.

When I was a teenager, I used to line my underwear drawers with a couple of perfume ads in magazines. I totally forgot about that until reading your post!! The Rosewood scented liners look much better.
