Australian style

My scanner is not cooperating with me today for my snapshots post so instead I’d like to share with you the work of Australian stylist, Clair Wayman. My sister picked up a copy of Real Living for me at the airport when I was leaving so I had a visual feast all the way back to America on the terribly long flight. And that’s how I discovered this woman of great style…

I have noticed in the magazines, stores, and friend’s houses that the style of decor in Australia is lighter and airier. Pieces may be solid but there is always room for that Sydney breeze to sweep right underneath them. The palette is also subtly cooler in tone. If you have the October issue of Real Living, turn to page 88 for a clever transformation of a living and dining room completed by Clair Wayman for Amanda, a lucky prizewinner. Oh how I wish I was the winner…

Can you feel the breeze too?
