This week our Project Runwayers had to create an avant-garde look based on a team member’s Zodiac sign. And who were the teammates? The eight eliminated designers from this season. Oh, the drama…

We all ooohed over boring Joe’s Aries dress but according to the great Mr. Tim Gunn, Daniel was the lead designer. I didn’t think Joe could do that all on his own. But good for him — the voluminous ruffles and feminine bolero were enough to pass Joe through to the next round. Leanne’s Scorpio sculptural dress should have won, don’t you think? The whole idea of the avant-garde challenge is to show the judges something that they would never have seen on the runway and I believe Leanne’s innovative approach with the swooping claw-like head cover was truly something different. Instead Houston-boy Jerell was the winner. The subtle use of seven different types of trim and daring selection of fabric seemed to impress the judges.

Double whammy — Blayne and Terri are out. What happened to my girl, Terri? I didn’t think she deserved to be kicked off last night because her gold Leo number wasn’t that bad. Blayne’s jumpsuit was atrocious (yes, pooping fabric) and it was definitely time for “licious” to go. Kenley’s developing attitude, not to mention her Minnie Mouse dress, are scoring fewer and fewer points in my book each week.
What a surprise to see the previous Project Runway designers as judges this week. I’m glad “fierce” Christian and the gorgeous Allison Kelly were amongst the returnees. Who were your favorites this week? Are you shocked about Terri’s departure?

I agree about LeAnn. She totally should have won. I thought her interpretation of the zodiac was by far the best. I happen to be a scorpio, so I was definitely drawn to her design.
I am sad about Terri. I initially thought she would make it into the top 3, but she seemed to lose her focus.
Kenley has gotten kind of annoying. She is so rude!

I agree with you and Paloma, LeAnne totally should have won (maybe the judges thought 3 weeks in a row was too much). Thank goodness ‘licious is gone, now if we could only get rid of Suede. It’s crazy the people who in my opinion, squeak through while I think a few of the more talented people have gone home.

Hi Kylie!!! I was torn between Leanne and Korto….Korto’s was just beautiful! And I have to say Leanne has DEF. stepped her game up in these last few rounds! I’m beginning to think it’s going to be her, Korto and Jerell in top 3!
I was very upset to see Terri go! Kenley’s attitude really pissed me off and thought it was reason enough for her to go home. ESP. since she started shouting. Didn’t someone go home because of their bad attitude this season?? She should have been kicked off instead of Terri. So next week she better go! And I love Blayne…but oh well. That outfit was a hot mess!

Leanne continues to amaze me week after week. I am in awe of her talent!

I was hoping that Terri would go because she didn’t make a very good leader of her team. I hated Blayne at the start but now I think that I’m gonna miss him on the show. Kenley started off so well but the attitude has got to go! My favourite is Leanne (although she can be a bit bland with her personality). My previous favourites had been Kelly and Kenley but Kelly’s out and Kenley just needs a huge attitude make-over!
