There is something so innocent and nostalgic about Lyell’s spring summer 2008 collection. Australian born designer, Emma Fletcher, opens the doors of her NoLita boutique with delicate blouses, heirloom lace, and 40s style dresses. I wouldn’t mind slipping on the claire blouse and snap up skirt from her collection. And of course I couldn’t help but notice the house in these fashion shots — it reflects Lyell’s collection so perfectly.
Now the sun is shining and my acoma crape myrtle is surviving. Let’s have a great week, shall we?

Okay, so my question on the previous post about planting the crepe myrtle has been answered! I love ruffles in the wardrobe; there’s something soft and delicate about them which adds so much to even the simplest of pieces.
