Last night I watched the first episode of HGTV’s Design Star and was glad to see Cynthia Rowley up there as a judge again this year. So, let’s see what this designer has been up to since we last saw her…
You may recall all of the talk about Cynthia Rowley’s beach cruiser designed for her Spring 2008 show (available in pink, blue, or cream floral pattern). It reminds me a little of the light blue bicycle that I had growing up in Sydney and the fun times our family had riding along the shore on very special Sundays (I got an ice-cream cone at the end). It was exhausting pushing ourselves up over the bridge but getting to the other side was definitely worth it.
I particularly love Cynthia Rowley’s survivor bag, as it would be perfect for summer weekend getaways. The beauty of summer packing — your clothes take up much less space. And she has given us so many pockets for all of those packing essentials like a pair of sunglasses, sunblock, and even belts for your pretty summer dresses.
And now Cynthia also has a home decor collection at Target called Whim. Its vibrant patterns and unbreakable materials make her collection perfect for summer picnics. Oh my, this designer has been busy…

it is so all about bikes right now! gas price’s will that, but if I could have one that looked that cute - and the great leather bag to match - i’d be all over it!
