I like to keep up with what’s going on back home in Australia so over the weekend I browsed the collections shown at the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week 2008. I stopped in my tracks when I saw the color palette of Lisa Ho’s Spring-Summer line. Unexpected shades of charcoal combined with the hues of lilac and cream grace Lisa Ho’s designs. It’s a sophisticated palette for a sun-drenched Australian summer (view the collection here; photographed by Charlie Brewer).
The runway message to the models for her previous Summer 2007 show made me smile even though Lisa Ho says you don’t have to show those pearly whites to be beautiful…
Happy Monday everyone!
