Eco fashion by Lara Miller

Cute, right? Now you don’t have to feel guilty about buying a new Silvia blouse or Sehner skirt because they are made from eco-friendly materials. Lara Miller’s Spring Summer 08 line is all about bamboo fabrics — striped bamboo, chevron lace bamboo, bamboo with organic cotton details, and guess what, even seaweed with jersey. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of such a fabric. Am I behind the times?

And how fun is this — Lara Miller designed the FLIP® Line that allows you to enjoy wearing a garment in a variety of ways by, “flip(ping) a breezy halter dress into a stylish skirt or wrapped knits into fluent body accessories”. If you need a little inspiration, this fashion designer started working on her line at home not that long ago and now her collection is in 17 stores nationwide. Very impressive.
