A few days ago I saw these Nicole Miller dresses on Kenzie Kate’s blog and now I can’t get them out of my head. I have been so distracted by them that I stopped my jewelry making just to write this post.

Since my yellow post, I seem to notice this color all over the place. It’s just like when you get engaged, suddenly you start noticing all of the bridal ads in magazines that you would have normally glanced over. Or if there is a new baby in the family (more about our little niece soon!), you find yourself wondering over to the baby section of the stores without even thinking about it.

I still love the Ying Yang Lurex Jacquard dress that I mentioned here, but decided to explore more of Nicole Miller’s site. She definitely has a gift for mixing patterns and prints. And I don’t know how she does it but her dresses seem to fit perfectly — always snug in just the right places but roomy where you need it. I never try on her dresses just for fun because I know that I’ll fall in love. Sometimes it’s a relief when they don’t have my size. There has to be a purpose and now I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out what that purpose can be…

Yep, I LOVE Nicole Miller!!! There is a little boutique near us that carries her dresses. I always make a beeline straight to that section. I like that yellow shift dress
