While yesterday was the day of red roses, I wondered how many people were daring enough to give their loved one a bouquet of calla lilies, orchids, or gardenias (I definitely dropped some hints to my husband). Next time you want to send a bouquet, you could take it one step further by giving them a flower in disguise like a tulip apron or magnolia bottle top. Plus, florals are so “in” this season in home decor that it’s easy to find such beautiful products. Adding to the fun, I discovered that each flower has a secret meaning…

Not only are we seeing a lot of florals in home decor, but also in fashion. Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, and Nicole Miller all have floral prints in their spring lines. Zara’s homepage also has a teaser about their spring floral line that will be in stores soon. I’m looking forward to checking that out. If you are going to embrace the floral fashion, here are a few suggestions to get you started…

Of course, you can always accessorize any of your spring florals by designing jewelry in the Bandelle design studio
