Project Runway: WWE Divas challenge

I’m not quite sure what to say about the WWE Divas challenge on Project Runway. The Levi’s denim disappointment was at the bottom of my list but that challenge now has a replacement. This week our Project Runwayers had to design an outfit for the WWE Divas to wear in the ring. Not high fashion, not couture, and not ready-to-wear. Part of me hopes that one day I’ll get to wear some of the designs on Project Runway. But I’ll let this one slide.

The best result of this wrestlemania challenge is that weeping Ricky was the loser. It’s about time. I didn’t hate his outfit but Ricky just doesn’t have as much talent as the rest of the crew. Where were the tears? Sweet P was right behind him and my prediction is that she’ll get auf’d shortly.

Project Runway: Top 3 predictions

That brings me to our discussion last night about who will be going to Bryant Park. Christian and Jillian are in for sure. We’re debating whether Rami will show us a Grecian-less style before then or if Chris can prove he has a polished taste level. Chris was the winner of the WWE Diva challenge but it was definitely a toss up between him and Christian. Leopard print and lace seemed to win over the judges.

At the very least, this challenge proved who the top designers are in the bunch. I guess the producers may actually know what they are doing. Thank godness our Project Runwayers look excited about what lies ahead next week.
